What are three key new things about transitions that you learned from this video? Why did you find each of these interesting? This video talks and explains about the type of transitions to have knowledge of that and know how to difference those. However some transitions that I find interesting were the common, cutaway and action transitions. Because I feel that those are so popular and being used by many people and in the majority of the movies, having a good effect of transition.  In my own words I think that common transitions are those transitions, which are so popular and the firsts ones based on move onto another film and scene with like a fade in and fade out, black screen. Cutaway transitions are those that have effect of quick movement to pass to the other clip without noticing the change of scenario because of how it get combined with the other clip. What is a natural transition? What are the three different techniques that this video mentions? What would each of them add to a scene? Natural transitions are those transitions that are not too obvious and the shoots that are cut being combined with the other looking like a similar place to move it to the other scenario. To the extend that we don't see any cuts just a change of scenario. Some examples that are presented in the video are when a film outside is gonna move to the other scenario recording up to the sky slowly and having another piece of sky from the other place to make it natural. 

  What are the key factors to keep in mind when exporting your project on Premiere Pro?  What are some mistakes that you've made so far that you can fix? When exporting a project on Premiere Pro is important to always double check the video to see that everything is on their place and that we are not missing anything and taking our time to export it. Because we always need to make sure the video quality and its components, for move it to the platform that will be post it without any mistake. However it is important to follow each step to avoid any mistakes or problem having to re do our projects. For example some mistakes that have happened to me in my own experience are forgotten to open the ProMax app, letting me to having problems on saving my video. 

  What is a codec? What is the difference between a codec and a container? In my own words, codec is the layout that dismount and amount the video and audio, like what holds that, with names and numbers to identify like a code, helping to a video quality and upload and makes the video to not lag. However a container is part of the codec since is the space or storage that maintains the video to be transported to a platform and the codec just support it by keeping what contains a video together. Basically being one in two, but with different functions.

  What is resolution? What is the difference between each of the different resolutions mentioned in this video? What is the presenter's advice for using different resolutions? Resolution is about the quality on a full screen video, like their measure or way to watch it clear and avoiding those pixels, depending on their components as cameras, dvd's, tv's and others. For example those tv's that say in the corner "HD" is their capacity of quality. Also each computer/tv has a number like "1920 x 1080" meaning the extend of quality depending on their number. There are type of resolutions each depends on the dispositive and size as the "Full Hd/4k/5k/8k" levels of quality. Helping to the monitors load faster, good transitions, cuts and many other advantages.

  What are three concepts from this article that you can incorporate into your future montage edit?  Why did you pick these three?  How can you apply them in the edit? I think that three concepts from the article that I will incorporate on a future of montage edit are the cut into action, commonly used and necessary for have the public entertaining, which is when editing a video and separating and cutting for its transition without making it obvious. For example when watching any clip and paying so much attention, noticing when two people is talking and moving to another scenario like the entrance of a house we see small cuts by the conversation face to face, supporting to the theme of the movie, depending how the cuts are.

  In your own words, explain what timecode is to someone who has no idea. What is it? Why is it so important for editing video? In my own words, I think that time code is the name to control and manage the sound and clip when editing a video, its code is "hours, minutes, seconds and frames" separating and controlling those, basically being a very important part when editing a video, to coordinate every single clip step by step very organized and  very helpful, because is like a guide when editing to know how and what to add.

What is the difference between analog and digital? What are the benefits of digital? analog is the oldest technology methods as oldest phones, Dvd's, televisions movies sets, etc. and it uses continuous electrical signals. Which digital is the advanced technology methods like the apple products, smartphones, laptops, with the difference of how those transmitted the data information and use of signal, like the Wifi is an example of digital. However digital not only have such benefits it also have been helped on the world of the technology the past years, increasing and development news.

 You've just begun your journey into editing! How does it feel to take your first baby steps? What are three things that surprise you? What are you finding difficult? As a beginner I feel that it's kinda hard to memorize each steps, where things goes, keyboard stuff, pages, etc. But I feel excited for this adventure and learn new things, increasing my editing skills and I know that this is barely starting, because on the future I will do good without confusion, because I always have to ask somebody for a little help. Some things that surprised me were the way to cutting the clips without having the whole video in the editing area, just watching it, also the effects, which i don't know yet how to add it at all, but the way that we need to do a lot of things for just a simple one.

  Summarize one of Pudovkin's techniques outlined in this video essay that interests you.  How does it contribute to the storytelling in the modern movie clip that the narrator talks about?  Why do you find this interesting?  Pudovkin impacted the film, because of his works and good use of montages and their techniques, contributing to the film editing development that is use today. However one of his techniques that catch my attention is the "Parallel Montage", that is as how the name says "Parallel", two films together making one. For example when someone is on a phone call showing the others people side/perspective, to keep the public entertaining and more tension with the film. Contributing to the storytelling in the modern movie clips being use by many people today and still catchings peoples attention.   What is cutting on action? How does it seamlessly blend two shots together? What are two things that you must keep in mind when cutting on action in your films? Cutting action is like the transition of a vlog, if paying so much attention to details we notice when watching those clips there are those fragments of actions with movement, entertaining our mind and eyes. Also seeing that sometimes two clips together connect to the other as if its on time, that are in a different perspective or with other side. For example when opening a door by the left side with the other clip being open by the right side. Small details that the majority of the people don't notice at all, because of how the video is being projected with many cuts/transitions, to make it interesting. However when editing a video it is important to have many clips of the same scene to avoid those problems and having a perfect eye observing details and having good experience editing.

  What is mise-en-scene? How is the term used in the film industry? What are two reasons that it is so important? Mise-en-scene is like a term to say something that is part of the films director's work, its real meaning is "placing on stage". Making a good film, because of how is combined with the others clips to create the complete video presented on the screen. Basically the whole film and making it not just important, also needed. For example the scene of the actor, like the room or place being used for act to the film. Also the lighting helping to the video quality, making the film a good film with its drama, action, fun, etc. Entertaining its public.

What was the significance of Birth of a Nation?  What was its terrible legacy? Birth of a Nation is a commercial spectacle considered as a work o art, its significance is to generate loyalty, showing ancestry, culture, rights, etc. Also giving a message most depending on people perspectives and giving profound moments. Impacting the public to their feelings  and making them think that the worst thing of this is that its how good is it.

  What are the steps in editing a rough cut?  Why is a rough cut so important? For rough cut there are simple steps that should be followed, but the most common steps are watching the entirely story to make sure, have a second option if something doesn't work, know what we are doing and others to do it measured. Because when editing rough cut plays a big role on how a video works and to structure things on its good way. Making it so important, helping on many peoples clips and edition.
